About the role

High School, Elementary, and Montessori Teacher

Adonville School is seeking a dedicated and qualified teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in their subject area, foster academic excellence, and prepare students for internal and external examinations under the British and Nigerian curricula, including IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British and Nigerian curricula.
  • Prepare students for IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO examinations.
  • Assess, monitor, and report students' academic progress.
  • Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
  • Integrate ICT into teaching and learning where appropriate.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE or equivalent) in the relevant subject.
  • TRCN certification is an added advantage.
  • Cambridge / IGCSE teaching certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching British and Nigerian curricula is preferred.
  • Proven success in preparing students for IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO examinations is an advantage.

Salary

  • N100,000 - N250,000 per month.
