Facility Officer

Job Summary

The Facility Officer will oversee the Camp Facility, ensuring that facilities are up and running efficiently and managing the allocation of rooms and facilities during camp activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan routine inspections and manage repairs for building systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, building codes, and local regulations.
• Hire, negotiate contracts with, and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Oversee soft services including cleaning, security, waste disposal, and parking.
• Track operational costs, manage invoices, and plan financial budgets for facility upgrades.
• Manage office layouts, seating arrangements, and facility refurbishments.

Required

• A degree in civil Engineering or Project Management with at least 3 years experience in Facility Maintenance.
• Proactive and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience working with engineers in building.
