About the role

General Manager, Sales, North

CIG Motor Ltd is seeking an experienced General Manager, Sales to drive commercial success and lead the sales function across the North region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Oversee all sales activities, ensuring timely and efficient closure of retail and fleet sales
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to the Chairman, including market trends and strategic recommendations
  • Analyze sales data to identify improvement areas and growth opportunities
  • Establish sales targets for the team and hold them accountable for results
  • Identify target accounts, create strategies for securing new business, and execute integrated sales and marketing plans
  • Foster strong working relationships with sales, marketing, and other departments to capitalize on commercial opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective promotional activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in a relevant field, or MBA
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading teams in high-pressure environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to build rapport, motivate, and influence others
