Field Sales Officer – FMCG Distribution & Customer Acquisition

NAJEC FMCG Limited is seeking a confident and energetic Field Sales Officer to help expand our customer network and strengthen product distribution across Abuja. The role involves visiting retail outlets, onboarding new customers, maintaining relationships, and promoting the company's FMCG products.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned markets, shops, supermarkets, stores, and other retail outlets to generate sales.
• Identify and onboard new customers within your assigned territory.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat purchases.
• Promote the Company's range of FMCG products and identify opportunities for upselling.
• Take and process customer orders accurately.
• Monitor competitor activities, market prices, and customer preferences.
• Follow assigned daily routes and maintain consistent outlet coverage.
• Follow up on customer orders, payments, and deliveries where required.
• Submit accurate daily sales and field activity reports.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to achieve assigned sales targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in FMCG, field sales, distribution, or retail sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Confident and comfortable working in the field.
• Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Good knowledge of Abuja markets and retail outlets is an advantage.
• Ability to use a smartphone and basic digital applications for reporting and communication.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
