About the role
English Language Teacher
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English Language lessons and developing students' communication, literacy, analytical, and comprehension skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English Language lessons.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Set, administer, mark, and review assessments.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Prepare relevant teaching and learning resources.
- Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
- Participate actively in school activities and co-curricular programmes.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc / B.A with PGDE) or NCE in the relevant field.
- TRCN registration or evidence of registration will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Sound knowledge of modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.
- A strong passion for child development and academic excellence.
- Good moral character and integrity.
- A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Commitment to the academic, personal, social, and character development of students.
- Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage.
