HMO / Billing Officer

A reputable healthcare facility located in Igando, Alimosho LGA, Lagos State is currently recruiting for the position of HMO/Billing Officer.

Responsibilities: Manage HMO patient verification, approvals and authorization processes. Prepare and process HMO bills and claims. Perform payment reconciliation and follow-up on outstanding claims.

Requirements: SSCE. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in HMO operations, hospital billing or a similar healthcare role. Practical knowledge of HMO patient verification, approvals and authorization processes. Experience in preparing and processing HMO bills and claims. Basic knowledge of payment reconciliation and follow-up on outstanding claims. Good computer skills and ability to work with billing/HMO portals. Good numerical and record-keeping skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
