Sales Executive (Open Market – Lagos)

ReelFruit is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales growth and expand market coverage across open market territories in Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new wholesalers, distributors, sub-distributors, and retail customers within assigned territories
• Develop and execute territory coverage plans to increase product penetration and market share
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key market stakeholders
• Conduct regular market visits to drive product availability and visibility
• Execute sales strategies and promotional activities in line with company objectives
• Negotiate pricing, trade terms, and promotional opportunities within approved guidelines
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends
• Gather customer and market feedback to support product and sales strategy improvements
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance updates
• Ensure compliance with company sales policies and operational procedures
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams

Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or any related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' proven sales experience within the FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of Lagos open markets and traditional trade channels
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow market share
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and sales reporting tools
