Sensor Integration & Industrial Bus Engineer

Gidia Oaks Limited (GoL) is hiring a Sensor Integration & Industrial Bus Engineer to join its engineering team for the AfWS Eko Atlantic City Tier-III Data Centre project in Lagos. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation, PLC configuration, and industrial automation to work on cutting-edge data centre infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire sensors including temperature probes, flow meters, pressure transducers, and leak detection systems
• Configure PLC systems and manage industrial bus integration
• Troubleshoot Modbus RTU, BACnet/IP, and RS485 networks
• Support Building Management Systems (BMS) and industrial automation projects
• Conduct electrical testing and equipment calibration

Requirements

• ND/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or related discipline
• 2–3 years' hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, Building Management Systems (BMS), or industrial automation
• Experience installing and wiring sensors (temperature probes, flow meters, pressure transducers, leak detection systems)
• Practical knowledge of PLC configuration, Modbus RTU, BACnet/IP, and RS485 network troubleshooting
• Competence with electrical testing and calibration equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, process calibrators)
