Accountant - Abuja II

Rekopel Resources Ltd is seeking an experienced accountant to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing statutory dues, and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and daily revenue ledgers
• Preparation and supervision of statutory dues and their prompt payment
• Collaboration with management and internal audit unit in formulation of internal control procedures
• Ensuring expenses are within budget limits
• Supervision of inventory management, stock taking, and reconciliation
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Liaising with procurement department and front desk manager for receivables and payables
• Coordination of a large number of accounts staff and cashiers

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/BSc in Accounting
• ICAN AAT or relevant years of experience
• Advanced stage in ICAN is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and at least one accounting software
• At least 6 years of experience, including 3 years in a similar role at a four/five-star hotel
