Head of Health, Safety & Environment (Group Role)

TECNO is recruiting a Head of Health, Safety & Environment (Group Role) to lead and oversee the organization's HSE strategy, policies, and compliance across the group.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company HSE requirements
• Lead safety initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture and promote employee awareness
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Monitor HSE performance through KPIs and prepare reports for senior management
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, drills, and business continuity measures
• Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety into daily operations and projects
• Lead and mentor the team while driving continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a related field
• NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification (preferred)
