Incident LifeCycle Manager

Standard Bank Group is hiring an Incident LifeCycle Manager to manage and coordinate all activities in the incident lifecycle management process, with a focus on problem identification, investigation, and proactive error resolution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all activities required to carry out, monitor, and report on the Incident Lifecycle management process
• Identify IT problems by analysing incident data in conjunction with incident managers and IT support staff
• Investigate IT problems according to impact through to resolution or error identification
• Facilitate requests for changes (RFCs) to clear identified errors
• Conduct proactive problem management activities
• Monitor progress on the resolution of known errors
• Review problem trends and take proactive actions to identify and remove errors for assigned department or business unit

Requirements

• BSc in IT, Computer Sciences, or related field
• Relevant professional certifications (advantageous)
