Junior Finance Officer

Green Habitat Initiative (GHI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Officer to support its financial operations in Abuja. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Excel, and relevant experience in finance or accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting and record-keeping
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Completion of NYSC
• Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting (including internships, NYSC, or entry-level roles)
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
