Education Officer – PREHYA

The Education Officer will be responsible for implementing education activities, supporting the establishment of learning spaces, and ensuring child safeguarding and inclusion in all education initiatives. This role involves coordinating teacher training, engaging with schools and communities, and collecting and reporting on education-related data.

Responsibilities

• Implement education activities according to approved work plans.
• Support establishment and management of temporary learning spaces where applicable.
• Coordinate teacher training and capacity-strengthening activities.
• Conduct school and community engagement sessions.
• Monitor learner attendance and participation.
• Support distribution of education materials and supplies.
• Collect and report education-related data.
• Ensure child safeguarding and inclusion principles are integrated into education activities.
• Liaise with education authorities and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in emergency education programming is desirable.
• Good facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in challenging field locations.
