Senior Estate Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Estate Surveyor to oversee property management, valuation, leasing, and estate advisory activities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent client-management skills, and the ability to supervise junior team members while delivering high-quality real estate services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee property valuation, inspection, and appraisal assignments.
- Conduct market research and provide accurate property and rental market analysis.
- Manage leasing, tenancy, and property management activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare professional valuation, property management, and advisory reports.
- Monitor rental income, lease renewals, and property-related transactions.
- Supervise property inspections, maintenance, and facility-related activities.
- Negotiate lease terms, renewals, and other property-related agreements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the real estate market.
- Supervise and mentor junior estate surveyors and other team members.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant real estate regulations and professional standards.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management on property investment and asset management.
- Prepare regular reports on property performance, market trends, and ongoing assignments.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Estate Management, Estate Surveying & Valuation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in estate surveying, valuation, or property management.
- Professional certification or membership of NIESV/ESVARBON is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of property valuation, estate management, leasing, and real estate advisory.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant property management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively.
