About the role

Head, Human Resources & Corporate Services

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across HR and corporate services functions, driving workforce transformation, governance, and operational excellence in line with the organisation's commitment to digital innovation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated human resources strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to build a future-ready workforce leveraging digital technologies, AI, and automation.
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-performing professionals.
  • Develop enterprise-wide learning and development strategies.
  • Identify capability gaps and implement targeted interventions.
  • Provide strategic oversight of employee relations and workplace engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee competitive reward, payroll, benefits, and recognition strategies.
  • Lead compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, and remuneration planning.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, including HRIS updates.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, PenCom regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Provide strategic oversight of administrative and corporate support functions.
  • Oversee office administration, facilities management, workplace services, fleet management, travel administration, and front office operations.
  • Supervise vendor management, contract administration, and service delivery standards.
  • Ensure effective management of workplace health, safety, security, and employee wellbeing programmes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in a related field is an advantage.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years' progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership or business partnering role.
  • Demonstrated experience within pension, financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labour laws, corporate governance principles, and PenCom regulatory requirements.
