Information Security Officer (GRC/SOC)

Financial Institution | Lagos (Hybrid)

A strategic security leadership role where you'll shape risk management and compliance across a fintech organization. You'll oversee GRC, SOC operations, incident response, and ensure the business stays ahead of security threats.

Responsibilities

• Build and enforce security policies across the organization
• Lead audit readiness for ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, NDPR, and CBN compliance
• Oversee SOC operations, threat detection, SIEM, and vulnerability management
• Embed security into product development from inception
• Report directly to the board on risk posture and cyber risk translation

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of security experience in fintech or financial services
• CISSP certification (mandatory)
• Hands-on expertise with Splunk/Sentinel, Tenable/Qualys, IAM, DLP, EDR
• Cloud security experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to communicate cyber risk to board-level stakeholders
• Leadership capability to shape organizational security strategy
