Driver

Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for guests, management, staff, and company materials as assigned. The role also ensures that company vehicles are maintained in excellent condition, comply with traffic regulations, and support the organization's operational needs efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests, management, staff, and authorized visitors to designated locations.
• Carry out airport transfers, official errands, and scheduled transportation assignments.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while maintaining high standards of courtesy and professionalism.
• Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tyre pressure, battery, lights, and other essential components.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, both internally and externally.
• Report mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance needs immediately.
• Ensure routine servicing and preventive maintenance are completed as scheduled.
• Maintain valid vehicle registration, insurance, and other statutory documents.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage records, fuel consumption records, and trip reports.
• Record maintenance activities and report unusual vehicle performance.
• Submit fuel receipts and other transport-related documentation as required.
• Greet guests and passengers professionally and assist with loading and unloading luggage where appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding passengers and company information.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and represent the hotel positively at all times.
• Observe all health, safety, and security procedures.
• Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability.
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or security incidents.
• Ensure passengers comply with seatbelt and other safety requirements.
• Support other administrative or logistics tasks as assigned.
• Assist with deliveries, collections, and procurement errands when required.
• Ensure company vehicles are used only for authorized official purposes.
