About the role

Administrative Officer

Domfas International Leadership Academy (Domfas ILA) is seeking an Administrative Officer to provide efficient administrative, operational, and clerical support ensuring smooth day-to-day school functioning. This role serves as a central coordination point for administrative activities, student records, staff support, and stakeholder relations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily administrative and office activities; manage front office operations
  • Maintain accurate student records, registration, enrollment, and documentation
  • Provide administrative support to academic and non-academic staff
  • Serve as primary contact for parents, visitors, and external stakeholders
  • Process invoices, receipts, and support procurement of supplies
  • Maintain administrative databases and generate weekly, monthly, and termly reports
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, examinations, and school events
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Draft and manage official communications, correspondence, and notices
  • Monitor office equipment and supplies; support school leadership in administrative planning

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, Educational Management, Human Resource Management, Mass Communication, Secretarial Administration, or related field; OR
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Technology and Management, or related discipline
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Educational Administration, Public Administration, or related field (advantageous)
  • Professional certifications in administration, office management, records management, HR, or customer service (advantageous)

Experience:

  • 2–5 years in administration, office management, educational administration, customer service, or related roles
  • Experience in a school, educational institution, or training center (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage records, documentation, and coordinate multiple tasks

  • Strong office administration and organizational abilities
  • Multitasking and deadline management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with office software and information systems
  • Records management and data confidentiality
