Python Developer

Odixcity Consulting is seeking a skilled Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. You will mentor interns and take ownership of features from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Apply accurate tags, bounding boxes, or classifications to text, image, audio, or video data according to project guidelines
• Develop and maintain Python scripts/APIs for data ingestion, pre-processing, and integration into machine learning pipelines
• Build automated tools for QA sampling, label consistency checks, and identify data anomalies
• Collaborate with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to clarify ambiguities and update annotation ontologies
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, and performance metrics, creating experiment tracking logs
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Python development experience
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, or standard APIs)
• Foundational understanding of machine learning workflows, NLP, computer vision, or LLM fine-tuning
• Strong problem-solving ability and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to apply multi-page annotation rules consistently
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and provide constructive feedback on dataset quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field
• Familiarity with annotation tools (CVAT, LabelImg, Prodigy)
• Experience with data privacy and governance (GDPR, HIPAA)
