Overview
Kaplo Africa is seeking an experienced, innovative, and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and increase revenue. This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational business objectives
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media, search engines, email marketing, and online platforms
- Oversee branding initiatives to ensure consistency across all marketing channels
- Create and manage marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, occupancy, and revenue growth
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Develop promotional campaigns, partnerships, and events to strengthen brand awareness and market presence
- Manage and grow social media platforms with high-quality, engaging content
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, content creators, and external vendors
- Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget while ensuring cost-effective resource utilization
- Track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Identify innovative marketing opportunities that improve customer experience and generate sustainable growth
- Ensure all marketing activities reflect organizational values, brand identity, and service standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 4–6 years' experience in marketing, preferably within hospitality, real estate, or service industry
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, branding, social media management, and campaign execution
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms, and CRM software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities
- Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Professional marketing certifications are an added advantage
