Group Accountant (Chartered)

Salve Consulting Limited is seeking a seasoned Group Accountant to oversee financial management, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial guidance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Group-wide accounting and financial reporting activities
• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor cash flow and treasury management activities
• Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive management
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections
• Monitor profitability and financial performance across business units
• Review capital expenditure proposals and investment opportunities
• Ensure timely filing of statutory and tax returns
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team across locations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Professional qualification: ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years' accounting experience, with at least 5 years in senior financial management role
• Experience managing multi-location business operations
• Strong financial reporting and consolidation skills
• Treasury and cash flow management expertise
• Budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning competency
• Strategic financial management capability
• Leadership and team development skills
• Advanced analytical skills
• Strong business and commercial acumen

Salary

₦700,000 Gross (monthly)
