Android Developer

This is a contract, on-site Android Developer role based in Ikeja. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications, ensuring responsiveness, performance, and usability across a range of devices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and implement features
• Integrate APIs and third-party services into Android applications
• Write clean, testable code following best practices
• Perform code reviews, debug and resolve issues
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Contribute to architectural decisions
• Stay current with Android platform updates and industry trends
• Participate in continuous improvement of development processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 4 years of mobile application development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Android Development and Android Design (Material Design guidelines)
• Solid background in Software Development (OOP, design patterns, Git)
• Proficiency with Android SDK, Kotlin, RESTful APIs, and Jetpack components
• Experience with testing and debugging tools, performance optimization, and Google Play Store publishing
• Ability to work on-site in Ikeja and collaborate within cross-functional teams
• Banking or fintech experience (required)
