Internal Auditor

The internal auditor ensures that an organization's operations and processes comply with regulations and standards. They conduct comprehensive reviews of systems, processes, and operations to identify potential risks and ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Performing the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
• Analyzing and evaluating the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures, assessing the risk of fraud or wastage in the organization, and verifying that the organization's policies comply with the legal framework.
• Preparing and presenting reports that reflect audit results and documenting the process, along with developing and implementing new audit processes to prevent fraud and reduce waste.
• Interacting with all levels of management and staff within the organization and sometimes working with external stakeholders if necessary.
• Providing an unbiased perspective to ensure that the organization operates in the best interest of its stakeholders.
• Identifying areas of potential risk and providing recommendations for improvement.
