Finance Specialist - Governance

Coca-Cola HBC Nigeria is seeking a Finance Specialist - Governance to strengthen internal controls, drive compliance, and improve operational governance at our Benin plant.

In this role, you'll serve as the plant's governance expert, coordinating audit activities, strengthening controls across asset management and inventory, monitoring finance process compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the plant's governance expert, providing guidance on policies, processes, and controls
• Coordinate audit activities, track remediation actions, and ensure timely closure of audit findings
• Strengthen governance across asset management, inventory, and raw material controls
• Monitor compliance with finance processes, including PO validation, SES, GRIR, and Goods-in-Transit controls
• Participate in stock counts and oversee inventory governance and reporting accuracy
• Support plant leadership by driving governance awareness and continuous process improvement
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Plant teams to enhance operational compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 4–6 years' experience in Finance, Internal Controls, Audit, or Operations
• Strong understanding of IFRS, internal controls, and governance frameworks
• Working knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Ability to influence, simplify complex processes, and drive compliance
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is an advantage
