Principal – Aster Bloom Academy

Lead academic and administrative operations at a British Curriculum school in Edo State. The Principal will drive educational excellence, manage staff performance, oversee student development, and support institutional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for teaching and learning; ensure effective implementation of the British Curriculum
• Monitor lesson delivery, assessments, and educational quality; introduce innovative teaching methods
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff; coordinate professional development
• Oversee day-to-day school operations, policies, procedures, and compliance with educational standards
• Foster a safe, nurturing learning environment; promote character development and pastoral care
• Build relationships with parents and stakeholders; represent the school professionally in the community
• Support enrollment, retention, and school improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum 8–10 years' teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (principal, vice principal, head teacher, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing the British Curriculum
• Strong knowledge of educational leadership and school administration
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• High integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
• Ability to inspire staff and students; build positive school culture
• TRCN registration and membership of relevant professional bodies (advantageous)

Salary

NGN 350,000 – 500,000 monthly
