About the role
Logistics Officer
We are recruiting a Logistics Officer to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will manage the entire supply chain, coordinating procurement, storage, and transportation of goods to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments from suppliers to warehouses or customers, optimizing routes to reduce costs
- Monitor stock levels, oversee warehousing, and maintain inventory accuracy using specialized software
- Initiate purchases, negotiate with suppliers, and prepare documentation for tenders
- Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, invoices) and ensure compliance with safety/regulatory standards
- Evaluate and manage performance of transportation partners, carriers, and suppliers
- Resolve issues related to damaged or lost shipments and supply chain delays
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, procurement, or related field
- BSc, HND, or OND in supply chain management, business administration, or related field
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory databases, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Salary
N100,000 per month
