Driver Admin Associate
The Driver Admin Associate is responsible for maintaining driver records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting the onboarding of new drivers. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive database of drivers
- Prepare and update driver deployment, trip schedules, and vehicle assignment records
- Monitor driver compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Track expiry dates for driver's licenses, vehicle papers, permits, insurance, and certifications
- Assist in incident reporting and document accidents, breakdowns, and disciplinary matters
- Coordinate with operations, fleet, HSE, and transport supervisors
- Conduct periodic re-verification of drivers and their guarantors
- Support onboarding and induction documentation for new drivers
- Manage relationships with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders
- Maintain confidential driver records and generate reports for management review
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transport Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years administrative experience, preferably in haulage, logistics, or fleet management
- Experience in handling driver records, transport documentation, and compliance files
- Strong computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of transport compliance, driver documentation, and fleet operations
