About the role
After-Sales Technical Support Specialist (Call Center Specialist)
MeWe Electronics is seeking an experienced technical support specialist to provide first-line assistance to customers experiencing issues with home appliances.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers with appliance issues (refrigerators, TVs, AC units, washing machines, etc.)
- Answer inbound technical calls and ask diagnostic questions to identify root causes of product malfunctions
- Troubleshoot issues including error codes, connectivity problems, and mechanical failures
- Guide customers through step-by-step remote solutions using troubleshooting guides, product manuals, and internal knowledge bases
- Verify customer warranty coverage by reviewing purchase receipts and warranty terms
- Use video-assistance tools to visually inspect appliances via customer smartphone cameras to identify physical defects or installation errors
Requirements
- Must have experience in home appliances or have worked in the home appliance industry
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Patience and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with product manuals and technical documentation
