Language Teacher

A language teacher is needed to teach Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa. The role involves remote teaching and requires fluency in English and a native or near-native proficiency in one of the mentioned languages.

Responsibilities

• Teach Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa to learners of different ages and proficiency levels.
• Use online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar.
• Be available during US, Canada, and UK time zones, including evenings and weekends where required.

Requirements

• NCE, OND/Degree in a relevant field.
• Reliable laptop and smartphone suitable for online teaching.
• Stable, high-speed internet connection with backup options.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa.
• Deep understanding of the language, traditions, customs, history, and culture associated with the language being taught.
• Ability to teach learners of different ages and proficiency levels.
