Reliable Steel & Plastic Ind. Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Executive Driver to provide safe, professional, and discreet transportation services to the Managing Director, Executives, and authorized personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport executives to official meetings, business engagements, and approved destinations
• Plan efficient travel routes and navigate Onitsha, Anambra State, and the South-East region (Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi States) without over-reliance on GPS
• Identify and use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion, road closures, and security challenges
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure excellent mechanical condition
• Maintain assigned vehicle cleanliness, fuel, servicing, and presentation at all times
• Monitor routine maintenance schedules and promptly report mechanical faults
• Ensure validity of all vehicle documents, licenses, insurance certificates, and roadworthiness documents
• Comply strictly with all road traffic laws, speed limits, and company policies; practice defensive driving
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements, conversations, schedules, and company information
• Assist with loading/unloading of personal or official luggage and documents
• Run official errands and deliver confidential documents as assigned
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel purchases, maintenance, and official trips
• Remain courteous, respectful, and professionally dressed while on duty
• Work beyond normal office hours, including weekends, public holidays, and out-of-town trips when required
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, security incidents, or emergencies to Management
• Perform other lawful duties assigned by Management

Requirements

• Minimum Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO) or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' proven experience as an Executive Driver, Personal Driver, or Private Chauffeur to senior executives or high-profile individuals
• Valid Nigerian Driver's License with excellent driving record
• Excellent knowledge of Onitsha, Anambra State, and the South-East region; ability to navigate efficiently without over-reliance on GPS
• Good understanding of road signs, traffic regulations, and defensive driving techniques
• Ability to maintain executive vehicles in excellent condition through routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting and ability to identify mechanical issues early
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate in English; knowledge of Igbo is an added advantage
• High level of integrity, honesty, discretion, and confidentiality
• Well-groomed, courteous, calm, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail
• Physically and medically fit to drive for extended periods and undertake interstate travel
• No criminal record or history of reckless driving, substance abuse, or major traffic offenses
• Must successfully pass the company's driving assessment, background verification, reference checks, and medical fitness examination before employment
