A Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. The role involves working in a clinical setting with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Operate X-ray and related imaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging
• Professional licence/certification from relevant Nigerian regulatory body
• Minimum 1 year’s clinical experience
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques and radiation safety
• Skilled in operating X-ray and related imaging equipment
• Good communication, patient care and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and shifts, weekends and on-call duties
