Accountant

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, prepare financial reports, monitor revenue and expenditure, and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Record daily income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor hospital revenue and expenditure.
• Reconcile bank accounts, POS transactions, cash collections, and other payment channels.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments, including HMO claims where applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Assist with payroll preparation and statutory payments.
• Monitor budgets and identify financial variances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and hospital financial policies.
• Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Safeguard the hospital’s financial assets and confidential financial information.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.
