About the role

Sales & Business Development Lead

A fast-growing logistics tech startup is seeking a Sales & Business Development Lead to own and scale revenue. You will lead the sales team from scratch, close enterprise and SME deals, develop strategic partnerships, and drive growth across B2B/API products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and build out the sales team
  • Close enterprise and SME deals
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships
  • Drive revenue growth across B2B/API product lines
  • Manage CRM and sales pipeline

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of sales or business development experience (logistics or e-commerce experience preferred)
  • At least 1 year in a management or leadership role
  • Strong, active network of corporate clients and decision-makers
  • Proven track record of high-value revenue generation
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)

Salary

  • Base salary: ₦500,000–₦700,000 net per month
  • Commission on personal deals (tiered for enterprise and SME)
  • Override commission on team revenue
  • Partnership deal incentives
  • Quarterly performance bonus
  • Pension, HMO, and stock options
