Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements. Responsibilities include payroll processing, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports
• Payroll processing and statutory remittances
• VAT, WHT, PAYE and other tax compliance
• Receivables, payments and reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Supporting business decisions with financial insights

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills — Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial analysis
• Experience with Zoho Books
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax, payroll and statutory compliance
