About the role
Office Assistant
Digital Marketing Skill Institute is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations and maintain a clean, professional office environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all office areas (workstations, meeting rooms, reception, restrooms, common areas)
- Monitor and replenish cleaning materials, office consumables, and kitchen supplies
- Assist with office errands including deliveries, purchases, banking, and document collection
- Receive and distribute correspondence, packages, and office supplies
- Support administrative activities: filing, photocopying, scanning, printing, data entry, document organization
- Prepare meeting rooms and provide logistical support for meetings, training, and events
- Monitor office supply stock levels and notify management when low
- Maintain office records and ensure proper document storage
- Report maintenance issues and facility concerns promptly
- Track basic inventory of office supplies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as office assistant, administrative support, or related role (advantageous)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Trustworthy, dependable, and professional
- Physically fit for cleaning and office support duties
- Proximity to office location and ability to commute/relocate
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (advantageous)
