About the role
Channels Sales Executive
Cloud Energy Photoelectric Ltd is seeking a proactive Channels Sales Executive to drive sales through dealer channels in Lagos and Port Harcourt. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong interest in solar solutions and renewable energy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and understand customer needs
- Develop and sustain solid relationships with existing distributors
- Prospect and secure new distributors and sales opportunities through cold calling and networking
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs
- Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing
- Follow up on complaints and queries on behalf of distributors
- Conduct site surveys and pre-installation site preparations
- Prepare quotations and estimates for proposed solutions
- Deliver effective presentations on products and services
- Prepare frequent reviews and sales forecasts
- Ensure availability of stock based on demand forecasts
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports of territory and partners
- Build and maintain a CRM database
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in channel sales
- Basic experience or understanding of solar products and solutions
- Prior experience managing channels sales, preferably in renewable energy
- Existing database of resellers in the renewable energy business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
