Marketing Manager – Close Up & Rexona

Unilever is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive consumer demand and deliver exceptional business results for Close Up and Rexona brands across Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic vision into comprehensive, tailored marketing plans for Close Up and Rexona, ensuring effective implementation
  • Oversee all marketing activities including advertising campaigns, consumer engagement, direct-to-consumer strategies, and execution of global brand innovations
  • Collaborate with Demand Creation Lead and agencies to develop impactful brand assets and amplify messaging across digital and retail platforms
  • Drive digital consumer demand creation through brand activation, consumer insights, data analytics, content development, and experiential events
  • Lead the digital marketing agenda, developing seamless, engaging consumer experiences and campaigns across all channels

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of proven marketing experience, with strong emphasis on demand generation, brand building, and digital marketing in consumer goods
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing plans that drive consumer demand and deliver measurable results
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing marketing teams in a results-oriented environment
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration (customer development, R&D, finance, creative agencies)
  • Strong financial acumen managing marketing budgets, tracking ROI, and optimizing spend
