Chartered Accountant (FMCG)

Trading and Logistix, a subsidiary of J-Six Group, is seeking experienced Chartered Accountants to join their team in Lagos. The role involves financial planning, reporting, and management across multiple subsidiaries within the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities

• Assisting management in decision-making by monitoring budgets and financial forecasts.
• Coordinating financial activities across all subsidiaries.
• Computing taxes and ensuring timely remittances.
• Coordinating weekly and monthly stock taking.
• Examining financial records for accuracy.
• Ensuring efficient cash management and banking activities.
• Handling stock reconciliation and inventory monitoring.
• Collecting and analyzing data for weekly and monthly estimates.
• Performing general accounting activities including preparation and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Generating monthly results and implementing variance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICMA, ACA, ICAN etc.).
• Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality or FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• High integrity and confidentiality.
• Business savvy and detail-oriented with expert knowledge of GAAP.
