Accountant

Shoelab NG is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, support business decision-making, and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
• Monitor expenses, revenue, and cash flow
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions
• Support payroll processing and statutory remittances
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Work with management to improve financial controls and reporting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills

Preferred

• Professional certification or progress toward certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN)
• Experience working with SMEs or multi-location businesses

Salary ₦250,000 – ₦350,000 monthly
