Cost & Inventory Accountant (Finance Officer)

Nicole Sinclair Consulting is seeking a Cost & Inventory Accountant to maintain accurate inventory and financial records, manage accounts payable/receivable, and support financial reporting and compliance across Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory accounting records for auto spare parts and reconcile inventory sub-ledgers with the General Ledger monthly
• Record daily financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and support month-end/year-end closing activities
• Process supplier invoices, manage payment schedules, and maintain accounts payable records
• Raise customer invoices, monitor collections, and reconcile customer accounts
• Prepare monthly inventory, receivables, and payables reports; monitor inventory turnover and stock movement trends
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage petty cash, and monitor daily cash balances
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation; support internal and external audit activities
• Support payroll preparation by providing accurate payroll inputs and processing employee reimbursements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in accounting, inventory accounting, or finance operations
• Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
• Professional qualification or progress toward ICAN, ACCA, ACA is advantageous
• Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, Distribution, or auto spare parts business preferred
