About the role
Sales Representative
We are looking for a proactive and results-orientated sales representative to promote and sell palm oil products within assigned territories. You will be responsible for identifying new customers, maintaining strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting business growth through effective market coverage.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers within assigned territories
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and bulk buyers
- Promote and sell palm oil products to existing and prospective customers
- Receive and process customer orders while ensuring timely fulfillment
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide regular feedback
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and orders
- Ensure all customer payments are made directly into the company's designated account
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely product delivery
- Represent the company professionally during all customer engagements
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification
- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or food distribution industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
- Good knowledge of the Lagos market and surrounding territories
- Willingness to travel frequently within assigned sales territories
Salary
NGN 70,000 - 150,000 (monthly)
