Services Specialist - Subsea Projects and Services

Baker Hughes is hiring a Services Specialist to support subsea projects and services at our Onne facility. You will execute complex subsea equipment disassembly, assembly, build, and test operations while troubleshooting and maintaining critical offshore equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute subsea equipment disassembly, assembly, build and test work orders
• Read, follow, and understand complex drawings, BoMs, GAs, schematics, and technical procedures
• Perform repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance, refurbishment, and modification of topside and subsea equipment (HPUs, valves, valve actuators, THs, THS, EDP/LRP, manifolds, instrumentation, fittings)
• Support multiplex electrohydraulic control systems operations
• Liaise with internal and external customers on technical matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science-related field from an accredited university
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on workshop and engineering/operations experience with subsea equipment in oil and gas
• Valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
• Technical working knowledge of subsea oil & gas equipment and products
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ORACLE ERP, CAD packages)
