Backend Engineer (Laravel)

HelloMeMoney is hiring a Backend Engineer to build and maintain systems supporting seamless cross-border transactions across major global payment networks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend systems for international payment operations
• Support cross-border transactions across SWIFT, SEPA, Fedwire, TARGET2, Faster Payments Service (FPS), ACH, EFT, Open Banking, and other payment schemes
• Integrate banking APIs and payment gateways
• Develop wallet, virtual account, remittance, and settlement systems
• Handle high-volume financial transaction environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline (Master's is an added advantage)
• 3–7 years of backend development experience
• 2–5 years in FinTech, Payments, Banking, Remittance, Foreign Exchange, or Financial Services
• Proven experience building payment systems and transaction-processing platforms
• Experience integrating banking APIs and payment gateways
• Experience supporting international payment operations and cross-border transactions
• Experience developing wallet, virtual account, remittance, or settlement systems
