Field Agent

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Field Agent to support our loan disbursement and collection operations across Lagos Mainland and Island. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, engaging directly with clients, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of loan transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Visit clients at their shops or businesses to disburse approved loans and collect repayments as scheduled
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including disbursements, collections, and client interactions
• Follow up with clients on overdue payments and provide clear communication on repayment terms
• Verify client information and documentation during field visits to ensure compliance with loan policies
• Report daily field activities, collections, and any irregularities to the operations supervisor
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage timely repayment and repeat business

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a field agent, loan officer, or similar role within a financial services or microfinance environment
• Solid understanding of loan disbursement and repayment processes
• Strong communication handling skills with a high level of accuracy and accountability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement
• Ability to travel independently across Lagos Mainland and Island on a daily basis
• Good record-keeping habits with attention to detail in documentation and reporting
