About the role

Head of Business Development & Partnerships

Swap Station Mobility Limited, a growing electric mobility company operating battery-swapping infrastructure for commercial EVs, is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development & Partnerships to drive vehicle sales, fleet deployment and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sale/placement and deployment of SSM’s electric vehicle inventory.
  • Originate and close B2B deals with logistics companies, e-commerce platforms, fleet owners, courier companies, cooperatives and transport associations.
  • Build strategic partnerships and a strong pipeline for future vehicle procurement and station expansion.
  • Manage commercial negotiations, collections, customer relationships and transaction profitability.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure successful vehicle and rider onboarding.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years’ experience in business development, sales or commercial roles.
  • Proven track record of personally originating and closing B2B transactions.
  • Strong existing network and direct access to decision-makers in Nigeria’s transport, logistics or e-commerce sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, commercial and financial skills.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work extensively in the field.

Salary Fixed monthly salary + performance-based commission, including a deployment bonus for achieving the initial vehicle deployment target. Equity participation may also be considered for the right candidate.
