About the role
Head of Marketing and Communications
Poise Nigeria Limited is seeking a strategic Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand positioning, drive demand, and support business growth in the IT and technology services landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets
- Lead brand positioning and corporate communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all internal and external channels
- Drive demand generation and pipeline growth through digital marketing, campaigns, events, and strategic partnerships
- Oversee digital platforms including website, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and marketing automation tools
- Lead content development and thought leadership initiatives, translating technical offerings into compelling market narratives
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and leadership to support go-to-market, employer branding, and communications
- Manage public relations, media engagement, and organizational reputation across stakeholder groups
- Define marketing KPIs, manage budgets and vendors, and provide performance insights and reporting to executive management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's Degree is an advantage)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience within an IT service, technology, or B2B professional services environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and demand generation
- Strategic thinking and commercial awareness
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Data-driven decision-making and performance orientation
- Ability to translate complex technical offerings into clear, compelling messages
