About the role

Head of Sales (Media)

Starks Creative Production Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Sales (Media) to lead media sales strategy and drive revenue growth. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lekki, responsible for overseeing the sales team, managing key client accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across media, advertising, PR, and creative services
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements to maximise revenue and profitability
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
  • Track sales performance, analyse data, and provide regular reports and forecasts to management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and objectives
  • Drive the adoption of effective sales processes and best practices to support sustainable business growth

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, or Revenue Generation roles
  • Mandatory experience in Media, Public Relations (PR), and Advertising industries
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong sales and sales management experience, including developing and executing media sales strategies
  • Demonstrated account management expertise with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting market data, forecasting revenue, and optimising sales performance
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong network of corporate brands, marketing decision-makers, advertising agencies, and media buyers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
