Tally ERP Accountant

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Tally Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records for agro-allied operations. You will handle daily transaction recording, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance using Tally ERP.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP
• Prepare, verify, and post accounting entries for sales, purchases, payments, and receipts
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers regularly
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets
• Track inventory and ensure proper valuation in coordination with store and production teams
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Support statutory compliance including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial records and company information

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in agro-allied, FMCG, or manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (or newer versions) is mandatory
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
