Internal Control Officer

Reliable Steel & Plastic Industry Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Control Officer to join their team. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, monitoring compliance, and supporting fraud prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits across departments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify operational risks, investigate irregularities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and track implementation of recommendations.
• Carry out routine inventory, asset, and process audits.
• Support fraud prevention initiatives and promote a strong control culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management.
• Experience in a Plastic Manufacturing environment will be a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or ACA will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Must be willing to relocate and reside in Onitsha, Anambra State.
