Business Development & BID Executive

Derive Communications System & Engineering Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to drive growth, build client relationships, and ensure long-term success of engineering and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by the company
• Identify new business opportunities, cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, and close deals to expand the client base
• Act as the company's "eyes and ears" in the marketplace by gathering intelligence on industry trends, client challenges, and competitor activities
• Provide valuable insights to engineering and R&D teams to keep offerings competitive
• Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and profitability goals
• Contribute directly to revenue generation, ensuring the company's financial sustainability and growth
• Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure retention
• Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow business
• Prepare bid documents and attend tender/bid meetings on behalf of the company

Requirements

• Minimum BSc degree in a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales
• Strong understanding of technical solutions and ability to translate them into business value
• Market awareness and industry intelligence gathering capability
• English language proficiency

Salary

NGN 250,000 – 400,000 per month
